TagMyDoc allows you to upload a document to their website and create a QR Code image.  Using this image, you are able to place it within a PowerPoint presentation that students can scan with their mobile device and download the digital copy.  You can also place the QR Code image on a printed document, and users can scan it to download the digital version.

QR codes have become popular ways to advertise products.  You may have seen QR codes on your favorite food brand packaging, movie posters, billboards, newspapers, and even the Lower School Garden.  In education, QR codes have become more popular, allowing teachers to share information with students in another format.

To scan a QR code, you will need a free QR code reader on your mobile device. TagMyDoc has a free app available for you on their website.

TagMyDoc is free to use, but you can also sign up for a free account, which will store your documents longer than the 14 days.  Here is how you get started:

1. Visit http://www.tagmydoc.com

2.

Click start here to upload your file.

3. Click Tag Now

4. Right Click on your QR Code and save the image

5. Insert QR code into your document, PowerPoint, etc.

6. Once uploaded, you can choose to create a free account, which will archive your scanned documents.
